Well Its Day Two and the sugar withdrawals have already hit some of the ladies pretty hard. They were all extremely sore from yesterdays activities...
This morning's Hike was really difficult even for me..its was basically a 60 minute straight uphill climb the entire way think (12 incline on the treadmill...oh and we jog the entire way down) I was leading the pack up the hill, Jackie was in the middle and Kim the program coordinator brought up the rear. On the way down Jackie took a wrong turn and got lost in a cow field with some of the girls LOL!!! 
The afternoon protein snack bars are like a golden nuggets we cant wait to eat them LOL!!
I took the ladies and did a bootcamp workout one the beautiful beach front lawn..we did suicide runs, worked with resistance bands, abs, plyometrics and other fun stuff. Then I handed them off to Jackie for the 2nd hour for an in the gym circuit weight routine.
This program forces the ladies to grapple with their mental daemons as well as the physical. Its really all about having a positive mindset to get thru the workouts and stay on track with the 1500 calorie meal plan!

ReplyDeleteDay 2 hike was up to the radio towers. Jackie and crew visited the cows on Day 3 (the Madonna hike). What an amazing hike!!!
